Warning: Gorgeous curly locks, mini rugby boots, a charming smile and huuuge brown eyes may well make Charlie one of the cutest little boys you will ever see.
Charlie has just turned three. He plays in an actual rugby team, and he knows the road rules on his teeny little 'Dinomite' bike. That pretty much sums him up...dynamite! When I arrived to meet him at the bike park, he was racing around so fast that his wee trainer wheels had the speed wobbles. I asked his permission to take photos of him playing, and he replied with the most enthusiatic "sure!!!" I have heard! Very compliant little kid. Warning: Gorgeous curly locks, mini rugby boots, a charming smile and huuuge brown eyes may well make Charlie one of the cutest little boys you will ever see. Check out those curls!! Wow oh wow. After some cycling and some mucking around on the playground, it was time to get serious. Charlie had come prepared with his rugby gear, and after a quick costume-change, he was ready to hit the field. When I asked him if he liked playing rugby, he replied "YUP!! THIS MUCH!!!!".... Apparently the parents all have to stand right around the edges of the field so the little kid with the ball doesn't run well out of the field while being chased by the mob of 29 other little kids! Cute!! A little three-year old Maori boy doing the haka, with gorgeous curls flying everywhere = pure gold. So, lots of photos are a must... Yup, I'd be scared of him on the field too.... I must admit, this was the first time I had done family portraits inside a whale...but when a kid wants to explore, there is no stopping him! So Mum (Anne-Marie), and Auntie Sam willingly jumped inside too. After 45 minutes of smiling beautifully for me, it was face-pulling time! Thank you soooo much Charlie, Anne-Marie, Sam and Cess! You were sooooo much fun to photograph!! Thanks for playing with me Charlie and showing me your sweet haka moves. You are going to be an All Black one day, I can tell already. Looking forward to showing you more photos! xx 3 Comments I'm going to point out straight away that Bridget and Angus are brother and sister...not a couple... so they spent the whole photo shoot more than 2 metres apart! Realising they only really had a couple of photos of the two of them together since they were little, Bridget thought it was time to rectify the situation and get photos taken for their parents. Angus was only having photos taken on two conditions though... 1. That they wouldn't be seen by ANYONE having their photos taken 2. That they wouldn't have corny, awkwardly-posed sibling photos So off to Blackhead beach we went... :) Bridget is gooorgeous! Look at her beautiful smile... :) They aren't being affectionate here... just so you know. Angus is actually trying to push Bridget into the water... The only way Angus was going to get close to Bridget was by throwing seaweed at her... Thanks Angus and Bridget! Was heaps of fun hanging out with you... it's a good thing you are both so photogenic and we didn't have to spend ages posing out there to get good ones eh ;) Tuesday was an amazingly great day for adventuring. So my beautiful friend Tahlia and I did just that! The sky was blue, the air was crisp, and the autumn leaves were perfect. Tahlia is an absolute hottie, and a little bit crazy too....so photographing her was a lot of fun! Let me show you just a few...or actually probably quite a few... Ohh, autumn colours are sooo beautiful!! Isn't she super cute?! Tahlia is also a very talented singer. I reckon this looks like her next album cover... :) Ahhh love it! Such a stunning girl! Thanks for being such a great model hun! You look amazing in all of these... a very natural model! Lots of love xoxo And finally just some cute little autumn shots...I love the contrast of colour in this one. |
