November seemed to come around and show its face much earlier than expected this year! But 10/11/12 was a popular date for weddings, and we were lucky enough to be at the gorgeous marriage of James and Amy in Dunedin. This wedding was full of class and beautiful elegance... Amy was simply stunning and it was so lovely to see two such awesome people become united for life!
We had been really looking forward to this wedding, and it certainly exceeded all expectations! From beginning to end we were presented with gorgeous locations, gorgeous details, and gorgeous people!
First stop was the boys station, at James' lovely family home, where the groom and his groomsman, George, were getting suited up...

Loved the lining of James' suit...
Everywhere we went there seemed to be stag heads at this wedding!
James invited a big group of friends to get some photos before the ceremony too. So while he had a shave and got kitted up, they stood around enjoying a beer and some sport on TV...
James also invited one very handy girl... a girl who knew a thing or two about suits and the men's fashion industry! So she took control of making sure the boys were all tidy, clean and ready to go...
Even Jim got a spruce up!
2:27pm - time to head outside for a few portraits...
Is this not the most suave group of guys you have ever seen?! I was sure they had all just walked off New Zealand's Next Top Male Model...
We then left the boys to their last minute preparations, and carried on up the road to the incredibly stunning Camp Estate, where the girls were getting styled! I was overwhelmed by this utterly gorgeous estate - it felt like we had walked into something off a Bond movie! Such an amazing venue.
I always try to guess what my brides' dresses are going to look like before the wedding... but for the life of me, I could not pick what style Amy would choose. She is always dressed so beautifully and just looks amazing, and when I first saw it hanging from the four-post bed, it all just made sense. Simple, elegant, divine.
Pretty little details...
Jan, Amy's precious Mum, helps her get into her dress...
Beautiful Louise was the most perfect bridesmaid anyone could wish for! She was helping Amy get organised from day 1 (Amy is the first to admit that she needed a little extra push to get things under-way for her big day!!), and these two best friends made an awesome team.
Ready to go, and out into the thick fog which made everything seem that much more magical...
The gorgeous ceremony was at cute little Pukehiki Church - the same church Amy's Aunty and Uncle got married in a few years back! Amy always vowed she would get married there herself, and that is just what she did!
Everyone was full of smiles, and there were a lot of people reaching for tissues throughout the ceremony.
Done and dusted - they are finally married!
Out into the bitter winds, there were hugs and kisses all round!
Some petal cones got eaten like ice-cream before they were thrown...
but there were still plenty left to cover Mr and Mrs Columb!
