After a beautiful ceremony (Did you miss that?! Check out Part I here!), the newly weds and their faithful crew of siblings and friends headed off for some photos! The sun was intense and amazingly hot... so we went to find some shelter at the Nelson Botanic Gardens....
Matthew, Ben, Casja (Pete's Groomsmaid), Joanna, Holly and Gretchen were all awesome to work with. They supported Pip and Pete perfectly and they all looked amazing!
Twirling and frolicking...
So.much.love!
When all the guests had moved on to the reception, we snuck back to the church to make use of it's gorgeousness. This reminds me of a wedding cake topper... :)
Over at Fairfield House, the reception details were perfect! All the guests were enjoying lawn games and chatting in the sun.
Being Nelson, it's possible to organise the whole reception to be outside (this is a VERY foreign concept to someone who comes from Dunedin!!)... so we enjoyed the evening sun and lovely colours in the sky throughout the night!
The speeches were the most energetic, theatrical speeches I have ever seen! Pip's Dad had been practising his speech at toastmasters for the past 9 months for this very day - a gorgeous gesture for his beloved daughter.

This photo just makes me smile!
Towards the end of the night, Pip decided to throw her bouquet from the flag tower... and her younger sister Jo fought through the crowd to grab it!
Pip and Pete - you guys are amazing. We absolutely loved your whole day - it was so awesome to be guests and to capture your whole day, from preparations through to big party at the end!! You made a stunning bride Pip, and we are so happy for you both! Can't wait to catch up with you when you have settled into being Mr and Mrs. McDowall! XOXO
