The days leading up to Catherine and Greg's wedding threatened rain for Queenstown on Friday 18th... but by the time we arrived, the sun was beating down and it was HOT! Catherine and Greg had come from Perth to get married in this glorious slice of New Zealand, so I guess even that didn't compare to the temperatures they are used to!
I love Queenstown so much. Everywhere you look is spectacular scenery. Both the guys and girls had absolute pearler views when they were preparing for the huge day ahead of them. We arrived to find the boys getting suited up... after Greg and some of the groomsmen had just had haircuts on the balcony!! It still makes me laugh that guys can get ready so quickly... I can't imagine any girl ever getting her hair cut about an hour before the ceremony! Even so, they were scrubbing up very well indeed.

About 2 minutes down the road, at Oaks Shores Hotel, Catherine was being pampered by her bridesmaids! Both Chelsea and Leigh are beauty therapists, so everything was all under control and Catherine was already looking incredible.
Hello, amazing shoes.
Gorgeous, gorgeous bride...
... and her two stunning bridesmaids!
The Stoneridge Estate property, near Lake Hayes, is absolutely stunning. Check out how cute the chapel is! Some of the guests were spilling out the edges of this tiny restored historic chapel, but it was so worth it. Such a gorgeous little place.
Show time!
Mr and Mrs Gardyne!!!
Follow along to Part II of this blog for all the stunning portraits of the bride and groom and their trusty bridal party...believe me, it is definitely worth it! :)
