Your wedding day. It is one day you spend months imagining, planning meticulously, and searching for the perfect dress, the perfect details, and the perfect vendors for. Then suddenly time has absolutely flown by, and you nervously and excitedly walk up the aisle to your best friend. And from that moment on, you do life together as husband and wife.
There were tears of happiness and joy all day long at Emily and Kim Leng's magnificent wedding day, as they gave their love, their lives, their futures to each other. It was emotional... but the happy, vibrant, cheerful type of emotional!! Emily and Kim both come from huge families of 6 kids, so they were surrounded by all their siblings, parents, relations and friends, to help celebrate and support their love, as a new future dawned.

Some lovely wedding day gifts from his wife to be!
Kim gave engraved pens to all his boys as gifts! Very classy.
Driving to the house up the peninsula that Emily was born in, and grew up in, I had time to get even moooore excited. I love arriving at the girls station and seeing the pretty little details, the amazing dress, the hair, the shoes... and most of all, the beautiful girls who are getting crazy excited! Emily met us on the balcony and I asked her how she was feeling... "I wasn't nervous until you just drove up the drive" she said, "... now it's all happening!!!!"
Inside though, there was a real sense of calmness, and the girls were all made up and ready to roll! They had plenty of time to chill and laugh together...

Kate, Claire and Rach were awesome time-keepers, and soon enough it was THAT time. Yep, time to get the bride into her dress! Not a short and easy process by any means, but always fun seeing it all finally come together!
Emily had details galore. And everything was so pretty! The theme running through their wedding was the colour red, and pearls. The gorgeous red heart for Emily's pearl bracelet was a wedding gift from Kim!
And something blue just for fun...
Amelia and Grace, Emily's two wee flower-girls, were pretty impressed by the princess in front of them...
And here is where the tears started. As Emily turned the corner down the stairs to see her adoring parents, we witnessed an incredibly special and beautiful moment, that still gives me goosebumps as I sit here writing about it.
Emily is truly stunning. She has an infectious smile and giggly laugh! We had lots of fun capturing her happiness!
Time to head to Pukehiki Church, where the groom, and all the guests waited with growing anticipation!
Again the emotions were too much, and the tears flowed. Now I don't just have goosebumps, but also shivers down my spine, as I relive this moment.
The bride and groom finally get their hands on each other on their wedding day!
Kim vowed to always be there to taste-test Emily's baking, and Emily promised to always provide delicious baked treats for him... sigh, true love!
Pure happiness! Emily and Kim are now Mr and Mrs Te!
There were lots of little cuties around too...
Emily's stunning long veil had a mind of its own... it kept blowing off and flying into the guests faces! Oh how I LOOOOOOVE long veils!! So much fun!
So they are officially married... but it doesn't end there... follow me over to Part II so you can see lots of gorgeous photos of Emily and Kim, and their bridal party!
