One year ago today - the 6th of February 2015 - these two wonderful humans got hitched in mighty Ash-vegas! Yep... a whole year ago. I know Hayden and Hayley have been wondering if they didn't make the cut, or if I just couldn't think of any nice words to say about them on the blog. But since I'm here with all their photos in front of me... I guess I'll rack my brain to come up with sooooomething... ;)
Ok fine. It's actually reeeeally hard not to rave on and on about this wedding and I'm pretty excited to be finally sharing it! I've gotta hand it to them - this good-looking couple put on one heck of a beautiful day! It was actually perfect from beginning to end... but with perfectionists like Hayden and Hayley, that was inevitable.
Hayden is my cuzzy-bro! Being 18 months younger than me, I'm sure I probably bossed him around a bit when we were young... and I got to do it all again on his wedding day! Hayden and Hayley were actually a dream to photograph though - they love a good laugh, they are beautiful people inside and out, they have an awesome sense of style, and they love each other. A lot. And that, my friends, is a great combo.

Hayden and his boys are not afraid of showing some man-love, very happy to dish out a good dose of sarcasm, and all just a little bit too cheeky for their own good...
... more cheeky than I probably cared to see ;)
Over at the girls we found a house full of loveliness! Hayley and her stunning bridesmaids were soooo unbelievably calm and organised... they were just sitting watching 'Bridesmaids' when we arrived!
We are soooo stoked that this beautiful girl has joined our family! Hayley is such a sweetheart and such an awesome match for Hayden :)
The ceremony was held at the gorgeous Trott's Gardens in Ashubrton - such a beautiful venue, and the weather played along perfectly. I think Hayden was pretty stoked to see his girl coming down the aisle towards him... his face said it all.
I love hug times at weddings! So much emotion to be captured in one spot. I also love my extended family... such an amazing bunch of people! :)
The reception was held at the family farm and we were pretty spoiled for choice for locations all within about 100m of each other!
Two years of extremely hard work around Hayden's family home, and it was totally wedding ready! Mart and Janine did some pretty major landscaping in order to get this huuuge marquee on the lawn (as well as a lot of spare space for outdoor mingling and some backyard cricket the next day). The marquee was beeeautifully put together by Peter May Marquees and it was so spectacular!
The reception was AMAZING... there was a lot of time and effort behind the scenes of this entire day, but it totally paid off. Some of the best speeches I've heard, delicious food, gorgeous details, immaculately soft grass between the toes, an amazing bridal party dance, and a pretty sweet band to see the party through to the early hours of the morning!
Hayden and Hayley... sorry it's taken me a year to blog your amazing day, but trust me when I say it's not because I haven't wanted to! You two are so awesome... we just loved being part of your wedding soooo much, and it's been fun going back through these images again!
We love you both heaps! Happy anniversary! xoxox
