I'm sitting here thinking about what it felt like when I only had two sleeps until my wedding day. That was 5 years ago now, but I do remember how surreal it felt! Amongst the excitement and nerves before your wedding, there is an unknown. The fact that you've been planning this day for months still doesn't really give you an insight into how you are going to feel as you take your first step down the aisle; what emotions are going to come bubbling up when you see the one you have chosen to live your life with, and how grateful and honoured you will feel to look out into the crowd and realise that your favourite people are there in one spot... to celebrate you.
I think about our couples all the time in the week leading up to their big day! And tonight, it's all about Hayley and Andy... because on Sunday, they are going to be filled with all of those emotions! We are beyond excited about their wedding. These two are totally gorgeous and I actually nearly cried when I saw their wedding venue... it's so darn magical! I can't wait to see that same venue filled with their people, and for Hayley and Andy to become husband and wife!
But before I get carried away about their wedding, I have their fun engagement shoot to share with you! We met at Fraser's Gully on a gorgeous evening in February. It's a special place for them, and somewhere they love to take their beloved dog, Jango, for a run around. Jango is a hilarious, energetic, softy... a big friendly dog giant! I loved photographing this wee family... they were amazing to work with :)
