Matt and Nat knew right through their engagement that nothing was going to lessen the fun they had on their day... nothing was going to dampen their spirits, nothing was going to mess with their amazing attitude! Whatever the weather, their day would be perfect. It was a huge celebration of their friendship and love, with all of their favourite people. So yep, it rained hard, and yes, everyone huddled under umbrellas throughout their outdoor ceremony... but this was one INCREDIBLE farm wedding! Natalie's parents wedding actually had to be postponed because Southland flooded BIG time... so a bit (or a lot) of rain here and there was noooo biggie! We walked away as little drowned rats high on life!

Natalie is stunning inside and out... she is SUCH a sweetie! I was 21 weeks pregnant at their wedding, and all day long she was concerned about my warmth, my comfort... my everything! She never once complained about how cold and wet she was (at least I could wear a coat!). She's a farmer through and through... and a beautiful one at that!
After the ceremony on Natalie's family farm, we made our way around their farm for some photos, and then to Matt and Nat's own farm! SO spoilt for awesome locations. And the cows, we can't forget the cows...
Their reception was the most hilarious one we have ever attended... hands down. Every single speech was actually cry-laughter worthy. And the hall set up was amazing! I love little country halls turned into wedding venues...
Happy 1st anniversary you two!! You guys are amazing and we felt so privileged to be part of your day! Thanks for inviting us into your lives and making us sooo welcome throughout the whole thing! Hope it's been an amazing day celebrating today! xoxox
