I have a preeetty special place in my heart for my wee nieces and nephews! And they are growing in number... and height! Little Annabelle is the latest addition to to the Truman family... she's actually 9 months old now, and ridiculously adorable! She always has the biggest smile plastered across her face any time you lay your eyes on her :)
But going back a year now... my beautiful sister Sarah was 26 weeks pregnant while were on a winter holiday in Hanmer Springs. So we set out to unknown locations with her gorgeous family, to capture this awesome time for them. These guys are no strangers to the blog... if you've been around here for a while you have probably seen me share photos of Penelope and Matthew, along with little Victoria, who they sadly lost at 38 weeks.
This is a rather large blog... because there are just so many photos that I love from the maternity shoot through to darling little Annabelle making her entrance into this world!

Penelope and Matthew were already smitten by this bump... this little baby was going to be arriving into the arms of a *very* excited big brother and sister...
We were pretty stoked to happen upon these gorgeous wintery trees and beeeautiful light... ahh Hanmer, you turned it on for us!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again... Sarah makes pregnancy look SO easy!!! She just seems to cruise through it so gracefully!
And then, on the 17th October 2016... Sarah and Nick's third beautiful little daughter, Annabelle Joy Truman, came into this world... with a head full of sticky-upy hair, gorgeous pouty lips, and those little chubby arm rolls that only a baby can pull off. She is pure perfection, this one.
Little funny story... I was actually in Invercargill with our other sister, Kirsten, to look after Penelope and Matthew (and my wee boy too!) while Sarah and Nick were in hospital. Sarah was also keen for me to be at the birth to capture their first moments of meeting their new baby... IF it worked out between looking after the other three kids! So after we fed them all and tucked them into bed, and finally got them all asleep... I raced down to the hospital, not having any idea how things were progressing and what stage of labour Sarah was in. As I walked into the birthing room... I realised this baby was going to be born any second... the very first photo I took was at 8:41pm.... and Annabelle was delivered at 8:42pm!!!
So much love...
