Sometimes I love to just get out by myself and take photos of anything that takes my fancy. Just anything. Seems a bit selfish, but it just makes me so happy. And it also means I am not always holding other people up while I snap away ridiculously! A couple of weeks ago Dunedin put on another absolutely stunning winter day (we have had an amazing winter!!), and I just drove until I found something I liked. In one perfect little spot I found a classic mailbox, an amazing view up the Dunedin Harbour, a funky old fence, and some wild roadside plants with the fading sunlight falling softly on them.
I must admit, I don't know whose mailbox I was photographing, but thank you for the privilege! If you happen to see this, I will give you some free prints for your services! I love it though...isn't it cute?!
