Visiting your friends to meet their brand new baby is such a surreal and amazing feeling! Liam, Eli and I first went to meet beeeautiful little baby Frank when he was about 3 weeks old, and I was lucky enough to be able to take photos of this gorgeous trio.
I'm pretty excited about this for lots of reasons... a new little bundle of joy has arrived into our big extended-family-of-friends (Eli has an automatic new friend too = win!), and Becca and Joe are nailing this parenting thing! Even in those first few crazy weeks, their house was so calm and relaxed. Frankie is seriously one of the most beautiful little newborns I've met, and they have done suuuuch a fantastic job of setting up the most gorgeous little nursery for him... it was super fun to photograph in. You might even recognise Becca and Joe from their wedding photos... it's so exciting and such a privilege to capture the journey as they transition to life as 3.

Becca is one half of the amazing talent behind 'Spruce' - if you haven't checked it out.... you absolutely have to! Becca and her Mum design and handmake the most stunning clothing and interior products (so many adorable things for babies and kids)... definitely worth a trip (or many) to Mosgiel for a coffee and a look around their gorgeous boutique shop! I can absolutely recommend the gorgeous, practical, warm clothing for babies. They even make their own felt from locally sourced wools to make the gorgeous cushions and mobiles etc! This blows my mind... how does someone make felt, and then make it into the most amazing creations?!
I don't believe for a second that newborns can't smile... look at that precious little grin!
Becca, Joe and Frank... we love your little family! It's so awesome to journey along the road of parenting with our friends and we are so excited about watching Frank grow up to be an amazing little boy. Wish you lots of love and sleep! ;) xox
